Vins d'Alsace AOP - Gewurztraminer
Sol : Grapes are coming from the organic wine growing. The patchs are situated in Dahlenheim and Balbronn, in the heart of the Couronne d'Or, in the North of the alsatian vineyard. They are often on marly and calcareous terroir which bring the complexity of this wine.
Vinification : Grapes are harvested at peak ripeness and by hand. Alcoholic fermentation for 1 or 2 weeks with select
yeast pitching and controlled temperatures (16-18°C). The wine is then quickly racked, filtered and bottled agter a regulating ageing.
Color : Straw yellow with golden glints
Nose : A very expressive nose. Very fruity (aromas of litchees, exotic fruits, peach, pear) and also floral (rose, violet ...)
Mouth : A soft attack, round in the palate, a lovely freshness, fruity (lichee and exotic fruits), a violet aroma and notes of english sweets.
Service temperature : 6 to 8°C
Conservation : 5 to 7 years
