Grands Crus d'Alsace AOP - Gewurztraminer

  • Geographical Situation : At the gates of the Alsace wine route, Marlenheim and its soilof exception, the Steinklotz. At an altitude of 200 to 300 m, this steep hillside slopes on "a limestone block" basis. Facing south / south-east, this terroir has maximum sunlight. Its stony subsoil is very favorable to the thermal storage.
  • Sol : Limestone
  • Vinification : Grapes are manually harvested at ripeness. Pneumatic pressing. Cold static settling. Alcoholic fermentation under controlled temperatures. Aged on lees for 4 to 6 months. The wine is then racked, filtered and bottled.
  • Color : Beautiful golden yellow colour.
  • Nose : Intense, elegant, very aromatic. Notes of pink accented with a touch of peppered spice. Tip of lychee providing the exotism.
  • Mouth : Very well-balanced. Great roundness contrasted by an acidity highlighting aromas of roses and spice suggested on the nose.
  • Recommendations : Aperitif, foir gras, munster, desserts, a crisp and pleasant wine.
  • Service temperature : 7 to 9°C
  • Conservation : 6 to 8 years
  • Acidity : 0
  • Alcohol : 13.5
